Certifications

At Global Vessel & Tank we understand the important role that quality manufacturing plays in the safe operation of the tanks and vessels we produce.

In order to ensure quality and safety, we have met all of the requirements of API 12-F & ASME Code “R” and “U” certification, as well as “NB” certifications from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.

American Society
of Mechanical Engineers

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is the leading international developer of codes and standards associated with the science and practice of mechanical engineering since 1914. By manufacturing our products to these high standards, we adhere to the best applicable guidelines, codes and vital inspections necessary to produce high quality, safe equipment.

National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors

The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors was created in 1919 to promote greater safety to life and property through uniformity in the construction, installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection of pressure equipment. The National Board membership oversees adherence to laws, rules, and regulations relating to boilers and pressure vessels. The National Board Members are the chief boiler inspectors representing most states and all provinces of North America, as well as many major cities in the United States.

American Petroleum Institute

The American Petroleum Institute (API) is the only national trade association representing all facets of the oil and natural gas industry, which supports 10.3 million U.S. jobs and nearly 8 percent of the U.S. economy. API’s more than 625 members include large integrated companies, as well as exploration and production, refining, marketing, pipeline, and marine businesses, and service and supply firms. They provide most of the nation’s energy and are backed by a growing grassroots movement of more than 40 million Americans.
